Contracts & timesheets
From proposal to contract
Accepting a proposal creates the contract — a shared workspace carrying the agreed terms (the project's terms + the proposal note, side by side), rate and dates, timesheets, a private chat thread, and feedback.
Contract states: Draft → Active ⇄ Paused → Completed / Cancelled.
Timesheets
- The contractor submits a timesheet for the period — days/cases worked (these units also drive the project's progress circle).
- The client approves from the dashboard widget or the contract page.
- Statuses: Unpaid (awaiting) · Paid · Declined · Disputed.
If a client doesn't act within the auto-approve window (a platform setting, shown on every timesheet row), the sheet approves automatically — disputes pause that clock.
Each side sees its own numbers: the contractor sees their totals, the client sees all contractors on the project, and the project card tracks live spend against budget.
