Lucy

Lucy is the platform's AI assistant — the chat bubble in the bottom-right of every screen, themed with the product. She has four jobs:

Help desk

Quick topics (fees, IR35, verification, the crown, disputes) plus free-form questions about how the platform works.

Posting co-pilot

The three-step Draft with Lucy wizard turns a plain-English brief into a complete posting with every form field populated — including skills and certifications matched to the platform's real catalogue. Available on the posting form, the dashboard and inside the bubble.

Screening interviewer

Clients request a screening; the contractor accepts or declines in their Lucy panel; Lucy conducts a structured interview and grades fit 1–5 with a full transcript. One screening per contractor per project — and passing one is what makes a contractor searchable at all.

Dispute mediator

Contested timesheets open an AI-led mediation thread. Most disagreements are misunderstandings; Lucy resolves those, and only the rest reach an admin.
